If we want the world we live in to have joyous moments, then cruel and unthinkable crimes will exist. Crimes arise daily, and as a consequence, the lives of the victims and their families are shattered along with their angry outcry for justice. Criminals should be justly and rightfully punished. However, can we say, in a society where prejudice and bias inclinations determine how we are judged and treated, are family members of those convicted also deemed to suffer the silent imprisonment of society’s contempt? With all things said, no matter how tragic and undesirable events may be, there will always be new life and happiness that embarks just around the corner. Through the story of a father who returns home after 28 years of imprisonment, and through the story of a daughter whose life is entangled, this drama tries to show in their reunion that people overcome obstacles in life with the love, support, and courage of that one person who is their one and only.
